Nike Skateboarding is a type of footwear and apparel that falls under the umbrella of the Nike company. Many people are unaware that Nike is a relatively new sporting company, especially when you take into account its level of popularity and how quickly it became a global brand. Nike was founded in 1972 by two guys from Oregon, USA; they were track and field coach Bill Bowerman and runner Phil Knight. Its headquarters remain in Oregon, where it was founded. Nike is most famous for its wide range of excellent trainers, but it also produces a great deal of high quality athletic clothing. Nike have done something that most other brands have failed to do or not even attempted. They design athletic-wear that is targeted towards the main market.
Nike is one of the few companies who has managed to produce footwear and clothing that not only looks good, but is practical too. They use some of the latest technology to produce truly outstanding trainers.
Nike SB Shoes & Trainers - Great Collaborations
Nike have collaborated with other big players in the clothing and fitness industry. For example, they collaborated with Michael Jordan to produce their Jordan range of clothing and basketball shoes. They also collaborated with other huge brands such as Converse, and they created Nike Golf. Nike 6.0 is born out of this terrific brand. It was primarily targeted towards athletes involved in sports such as surf, ski and motto. However, it's appeal spreads much further than these sports, and it is becoming an iconic brand of its own.
