The item up for grabs is one of the biggest books I've ever carried
at a whopping 17 1/2 inches tall! Better get a special bookcase kids!

But not only is it big, but it's quite something to behold. I'll admit I have not had time to sit down and read it yet, but i definitly will.
Just holding the thing in your hands, you can feel the artist's wants and desires for this project were fulfilled.
It's really a beautiful achievement for what I believe is Brain's first outing.

There are a variety of styles and stories going on within the pages, some in fully painted color, some in itsy bitsy little, tiny, black and white drawings. All intriguing and pulling you right inside the massive size of this book, you almost feel like a little kid again because the book is so big (It weighs almost 4lbs!). And as I said, I cannot comment on the actual stories within but I can tell you that the artwork will make you want to read it. There is such an amazing array of talent displayed here, I at first thoght it was by several different people, but no, just mr chippendale.
This book is without a doubt for fans of Gary Panter or other fans of the RAW Gang. His influence can be seen all over the thing, i even think i may have spotted Jimbo lurking behind a couple of panels somewhere within. ;)
